Emergency Exercises

Exercises are an important component in the comprehensive emergency management model. The University is committed to conducting regularly scheduled exercises each year. If you would like to request an exercise email us at

Training Offered by Other Departments

Several departments on campus offer safety and security training. The University Police Department offers "Shots Fired" training for faculty, staff, and students that would like to learn more about personal preparedness for an active shooter or violent criminal behavior. University Police also offers Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) training during both semesters.

CPR and first-aid courses are regularly offered through several departments on campus. Health Promotion sponsors these courses for faculty and staff and University Recreation sponsors the courses for students.
